Questions restaurants often ask
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests simply point their phone camera at the QR code (or tap the NFC card), and the AR menu opens right in the browser — powered by Scene Viewer on Android and AR Quick Look on iOS, both built into the phone's operating system.
How long does setup take?
A single shoot at your restaurant, followed by modelling and quality checks. Most menus go live within one to two weeks, depending on how many dishes are in your plan — we'll confirm a timeline before you commit to anything.
Does this replace my POS or delivery apps?
No — DishAR lives on the dine-in side of things. Orders reach your staff directly, and guests get an automatic WhatsApp confirmation. If you'd like it connected to your existing POS, tell us which one and we'll scope the integration.
What happens when I change my menu?
Prices, descriptions, and availability are edits you make yourself, instantly, with no new QR codes required. Brand-new dishes just need a short reshoot — and AR Studio includes priority reshoots.
Will it work on older phones?
Full AR placement needs iOS 12+ or Android 8+ with ARCore support. On older phones, guests still get the spinnable 3D model and the complete ordering flow in the browser — nobody hits a dead end.
